• ksmithaz1 Posted 2013-05-22 IMNSHO, Remmina is this bit overblown. This is/was a simple front end for rdesktop in the finest unix tradition. Remmina conforms a different desire. If you want a simple RDP front end this is it.

• leadman Posted 2012-02-17 This is the best terminal guest I have used on that account far. Compared to others I have tested (gnome-rdp,KRDC,Remmina,Vinagre) it grants functionality for others do not have, like: -mapping in the context of local controls, -storing passwords(gnome-rdp claims to have it but is not working), -storing separate settings for each connection, -one hit connection proceeding from tsclient icon on mission bar, -auto adjusting window gauge to remote screen resolution, -thin window borders, -and many others. [OT] I can honestly say IMHO this is quite old client but even yet her best one to choose. A short time ago Ubuntu removed tsclient from it's repositories, through which represented big flaw, because they didn't provided anythig which turns near least as good while considering tsclient. They claimed tsclient functions old and nobody turns working on it from here on. So anything? When was the last span somebody executed on 'ls' or 'cd' proposal? Will they remove those also? ;)
